Jan Farkaš, M.D. is a certified interventional pain management specialist, anesthesiologist and intensivist. After completing his studies at the Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Pilsen in 2005, he worked at the anesthesiology and resuscitation clinic of the University Hospital Pilsen. He started the next stage of his clinical practice in 2009 in the Nový Jičín Hospital, where he worked as an pain management specialist and anesthesiologist in the anesthesiology and resuscitation department and in the Pain Treatment Outpatient Clinic. Since 2017, he has been running a separate pain management clinic in Třinec. For more than seven years he has also been working as a doctor for the Medical Rescue Service of the Moravian-Silesian Region. He holds an ALS (Advanced Life Support) course certificate with professional training in medical procedures designed for the effective treatment of sudden circulatory arrest and critical conditions.
Dr. Farkaš has been a doctor at the specialized EuroPainClinics Ostrava department since September.
